Not my will but Yours

He went on a little farther & bowed with His face to the ground, praying, "My Father!  If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from Me.  Yet I want Your will to be done, not mine. (Matt. 26:39 NLT)

Jesus knew when He came to earth what His purpose was.  He knew the suffering was going to happen.  The human part of Him didn't want to have to go through that but He wanted Gods will even more.  That's the hard part.  But when we become Christians, that's what we've committed to.  We have committed that He is Lord of our life & we put His will ahead of ours.  We have committed to follow Him no matter what.  The good news is for His children, God promises to work all things together for their good.  Today we need some serious committed Christians who will put Gods will first.  Gods looking for Christians who will do that & who will allow Him to work through them to accomplish great things.  Will you commit to put His will first?  Will you be the Christian to stand up & make a difference?  I would love to see what God will do if we say yes!
